New leadership for Ontario Libertarians

A CHANGING OF THE GUARD was the order of the day for the Ontario Libertarian Party on Saturday at Riviera Parque Convention Centre in Concord, where a new leader and deputy leader were elected during the party’s annual convention. Delegates overwhelmingly elected Allen Small, left, as the party’s new leader and Woodbridge native Paolo Fabrizio as deputy leader. Small, of Unionville, defeated outgoing leader Sam Apelbaum and two other candidates. Outgoing deputy leader Jean-Serge Brisson ran instead for leader, but withdrew prior to the vote.
